S Desktop Study “laboratory scale”

• TRL 0–2
• Including raw material analyses, literature surveys and FTO and IP studies, as well as regulatory landscape now and in the future.
• Compilation of a comprehensive experimental plan for material testing, where HSE requirements and material compatibilities are also verified.
• Test-tube-scale MVP: Offering our deep experimental know-how and expertise, to produce a small material sample, concrete and practical insights into the development, and market potential analysis.
• Budget range 3000 € – 15 000 €

M Demonstrator “garage scale”

• TRL 3-5
• Including raw material modifications, technocal properties and application testing, proof-of-concept –demonstrations as well as market and customer mappings.
• Based on the technical properties, TDS and MSDS can be created for the material, retaining the HSE related matters and material compatibilities.
• The work consists of the practical implementation of the project; from material analyses and laboratory work to the definition of the demonstration materials and their properties with the market potential mapped.
• Budget range 15 000 € – 75 000 €

L piloting “container scale”

• TRL 5-6
• Project includes concepting of a pilot-scale process for the developed material, scaling up the product as a target
• Development and construction of process equipment, for example movable and flexible , is possible (minimill).
• Piloted product is analysed and process optimised based on the outcome. Technoeconomical analysis is produced based on the optimised process.
• Project is designed to proceed gate-wise, where decisions can be made based on theresult obtained in the previous stage.
• Budget range 75 000 € – 300 000 €

XL R&D&P “mini mill scale”

• TRL 0-6
• Extensive material study including raw material analyses and tests, application testing and demonstration all the way to process concepting and industrial line piloting, such as large scale projects typically requiring national funding.
• Project management from material identification and modifications to applicable product and construction of piloting equipment. Project is designed to proceed gate-wise, where decisions can be made based on the result obtained in the previous stage. Results and decisions can be reported as agreed.
• Budget range 300 000 € – 1 500 000 €
